First Starling chick has hatched at the Rosmuc National School nest web cam. Pity the kids are on Easter Holiday's, but there should be a lot of activity by the time they are back on Tuesday. Teachers will have fun next week trying to teach the kids.

Week end shots in sunshine

After a weekend in sunshine and suitable burnt as I hate using sun cream. Sun cream and camreas don't mix and I left my hat in the car. There is a slight tinge of red on the face. But still got the best shots I have every got of a Treecreeper and Goldcrest.

Out and about today

First white wing gull for the year at Nimmo's Pier in the form of a Glaucous Gull. Also first Willow Warbler at Waterside, which had a Ring-billed Gull in a restfull mode. A suprise at Longwalk was a Sanderling feeding with Turnstone
